Educational-use notice
Rounds is an educational simulation. All patients are fictional. Nothing here is medical advice or for use in real patient care.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, accepting the in-product notice, or using Rounds (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You confirm that you are at least 18, or otherwise legally old enough to undertake medical training and use this Service in your jurisdiction.
2. What Rounds provides
Rounds provides interactive, AI-assisted clinical simulation cases, educational feedback, scorecards, and progress tools for medical learners. Every patient, case identity, and encounter in the Service is fictional and created for simulation.
3. Educational purpose only
Rounds is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency support, or patient-specific recommendations. It is not a substitute for formal education, supervised clinical training, local protocols, professional judgement, or consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
The Service may contain incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate AI-generated content. Do not use any output from Rounds to make a decision about a real patient.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use Rounds only for lawful educational and training purposes.
- Do not enter real patient information, health records, or other confidential third-party data.
- Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate account information.
- Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, disrupt, misuse, or commercially redistribute the Service or its content.
5. Accounts and availability
You are responsible for activity through your account. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access where needed to protect users, clinical content integrity, security, or the Service. Features may change during beta and may occasionally be unavailable.
6. Content and intellectual property
The Service, its design, software, authored cases, and related materials belong to Rounds or its licensors. You retain rights in content you submit, and grant us the limited permission needed to process it to operate, grade, secure, and improve the Service as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rounds is not liable for clinical reliance, educational outcomes, loss of progress, service interruptions, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will provide notice and may ask you to accept the new version before continuing. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the applicable courts in India.
